FOLLOW ME

Growing up, I primarily worked on pottery. My parents submitted me to the Winter Park Arts Festivals and Osceola Arts Festivals. In the youth categories, I was lucky enough to be placed and ribboned.

Once I moved to NYC in 2000 that darn ol potters wheel couldn't fit in the 250sq ft hovel I found myself living in on the Upper East side. So, I chose the bed instead and soon rinsed off my clay stained hands. When my first Christmas brought an ambitious snow storm, leaving everyone with cabin fever, I learned how to paint with oil. During 2000- 2008, I painted nearly 55 pieces and exhibited my work at the prestigious Arts Student League. Now in LA, I still tote my canvas and brushes...and, per usual, paint with all the shades of the palette.

RECENT EVENTS:
Starting July 31, 2011- once a month, I hold a free "oil portrait day," where inside my studio, I paint a variety of people in different poses. Please email me to sign up and to learn more about what it entails as the painted subject.
